    Hi;
    I have my named (ipouch) protected network connection listed in the wifi network settings and I have another unprotected network setting named default in the wifi network settings that I can connect to. I don't know if this connection was set up inadvertently, maybe through windows or through my router. In fact I don't even know if this connection is part of my network since there are other networks listed from users in the vicinity. I'm just worried that since it's unprotected those other users will have access to my network.

    the statistics for my named network are:
    IP: 192.168.0.101
    Subnet: 255.255.255.0
    Router: 192.168.0.1
    DNS: 192.168.0.1

    the statistics for the default (unwanted) network are:
    IP: 192.168.0.100
    Subnet: 255.255.255.0
    Router: 192.168.0.1
    DNS: none listed

    does anyone know how to delete this connnection if in fact it is part of my network?

    thanks,
    Jim

    turn your wi fi off...then restart ipod...go back into setting and go into wi fi and then just choose a new network that is the best possible one.
