I was actually looking at this mic for my iTouch 4G, as well. I'd like to record some acoustic instruments with video for youtube. Any thoughts?

It doesn't have any form of audio output (no speakers/headphones, or support for them), so if you want to hear anything you recorded in real time, you would need to unplug the mic and plug in a pair of speakers/headphones (the built in speaker isn't the best on the iPod). Otherwise, it should be a decent microphone.

I would test using the built in mic first though, if you can live with that quality, why pay 50 bucks...
