I was curious about the questions of external game controllers? I went searching and came up with these things. There is a link to each site below each image. If you find more external gaming controllers please post them here.
Please only post them if they look legit!

Interesting, I can see those being useful for racing and such.

I don't really see the point of these controllers. Portability vs. "Bulky-ness" wins hands down. At least that's what I think... Look, the future is obviously high tech, high touch. If you're up for buttons (which will eventually get old) you should look at the PSP. Or Nintendo DS (for a cross between touch screen and buttons).

I guess touch games are a fairly new concept. But just look at some titles ! For example: Blocked, Flight Control, GloBall, Toki Tori, Zen Bound, Chewie Chu and "Spider - The Secret of Bryce Manor". Or "Jules Verne's Return to Mysterious Island". These are pretty good for a "touch" experience.

I have a DS, with a decent battery life. The last thing I want is one of those things sucking up all the battery life I have on a device that can hardly get through the day anyway.

That is very true they will probably take up more battery life.

But for me, who has a charger 24/7, I wouldn't mind one of these.

lol do you go out? And i would love if they had a controller with like an analog stick and 8 buttons. (probaly not gonna happen) It would be perfect for a doom & doom 2 port! Portable doom! I used to have a psp and the only thing i played was doom wads constantly but then it got stolen and no more portable doom ;'(

I believe the "game bone" actual charges your ipod when its plugged in.
