Hi! I know there are many problems with this app but i was wondering if mine is any different. At first before i downloaded extended preferences, whenever i went into settings it would freeze then i would have to restart it. After i downloaded extended preferences then updating i try to uninstall but get the error: main script execution failed. Whenever i try to log into winscp and everything is right except since my settings disappered so i dont know my ip adress thus winscp gives me an error message so i cant log in. Is there a way back up my settings app and im wondering if i need to back up preferences but i dont know what that is. I read other post but it says i need to put the file in preferences.app but how can i if i cant log into winscp. As you can tell im a noob but can you plz help me?

ok if you have total commander go into /private/var/root/library/preferences and copy the Preferences.app.bak into /Applications. you have to rename the folder so remove the .bak thing. When thats done remember to chmd preferences to 755
