My avatar looks great (it's saved to my desktop)

but when I upload it to use as an avatar, it gets really blurry...How am I supposed to export it in high quality so I stays high quality after uploading?

an example would be my current one

the max the an avatar can take up is like 200 kb so it automatically scales it down to that.

So that's why my avatars come out so blurry?

and I've seen kik's thread asking for a banner for the fantastic friday giveaway 3. and you along with others have really high quality pictures, that are larger than my avatar, so naturally a larger file size

    How can I fix this?

When saving, it comes up with what quality you'd like the file to be in, I think it's default at 5? Just scale it to 10

JPEG and GIF suck. Use PNG instead.
