explorer.exe crash!

    Hey, my laptop i guess has gotten a virus and keeps ending the explorer.exe prosses.
    I need to fix help please!

    Go to your Task Manager and go to File>Run, and run explorer.

    See if that fixes it.

    Download linux... put it on a cd... wipe off winblows and put linux on it

    How is this related to iPod touch Tech Help?
    and it's not a virus...I'm 6/10 sure.
    It's a shell which is causing it to close, since certain applications install such thing which are needed to launch explorer.exe
    when it closes, I bet a message like "Explorer.exe has encountered a problem .We're sorry for the inconvenience." Not exactly, but close...
    this happens

    I tried it keeps turning on and off

    And i cant evan put a virus thing one it now i just fresh installed
    Win XP Pro.
    It worked for about a week and i just got a virus i think

    It's really nice indeed, but of course No iTunes and many if not most of your software will not be compatible is worse than mac in compatibility.
    The interface is clean and has many unique features. It's pretty fast, but buggy if you have both OS's in one computer

    No its doesnt say that! it just goes on then off then on then off and sometimes it does that a couple more times or it stops and i have to type in the "run explorer.exe thing

    Explain your situation in more detail, how does it close?

    Does it give the standard "Explorer.exe has closed" message or does it spontaneously close?
