Excuses for when i go to apple to replace my bricked ipod?

    Ok so i was trying to jailbreak my ipod touch, and my mindlessness i skipped a step by mistake and ended up installing a the custom firmware and no its bricked (i'm guessing)

    So i need some excuses for when i go to apple and for what to tell to my mom.

    You already tried to fix it?? You do know that when in DFU mode the screen doesn't come on?
    I thought mine was bricked and that was probably the case.

    No, i put it into DFU mode (so it seems) and it doesn't turn on and itunes doesn't detect it.

    DUDE I FRIGGIN THOUGHT IT WAS BRICKED!!!!
    ROFL i opened itunes before i lugged in ipod and it didn't detect it.

    How about you tell them that you were trying to install a 3rd party custom firmware and you were too retarded to follow the instructions and you bricked it. After all, it was you who broke it, not Apple. Why should they foot the bill for your stuff up ?

    put it in dfu mode again and restore it?

    someone's not update. They released the tethered redsn0w. I being a smart n00b will wait until they possibly make an untethered jb. I don't mind whether I have jb or not
