im new hear, its my first post, any help is greatly appreciated.

AHHH, i broke up with my gf, as a payback she put a passcode on my ipod, she knew my passcode and changed it to another one, and guys...you know shes never going to tell me it. LOL!

    snake move...

is there a way i can get back into it, unlock the passcode?

all my contacts, and personal stuff is backed up on that, i really need it from that ipod.

is there a way i can either remove the passcode or access my files through a third party program to get them out? she really effed me on this one, knowing how important my stuff on it was, gotta hand it to her though, pretty smart.

Why don't you just restore it? All that information is also stored on the computer, right?

Run the iPod in dfu mode. Plug it in the computer and open iTunes then restore.

unfortunetly... no, the pc i used to sync my ipod was hers which i bought for her, because we were always with each other, now the b*tch ran off with my laptop...

    see my problem? lol

    restoring would erase everything.

Wow dude I'm sorry... That really sucks. Ok I got it. Go back out with her just long enuff to plug ur iPod in. if I remember correctly, u can plugin ur iPod and reset the password. I think that's it. If not still get the laptop. then restore ur iPod and re-sync. Then either get ur own computer and put all ur stuff on that computer manually from ur iPod, or burn a disk with all that on it and throw that in ur new computer and r set. Unless u r willing to lose all it stuff, getting that computer back is the only way I can think of getting ur stuff back. But try using iTunes to unlock it first. Thats my advice bro.
