So heres the Dilema, I have a sony blu-ray player that can be hooked up to the internet to access online services such as youtube etc. But my problem is that the wireless sony adapter is £70 (Which I cant afford atm), and the blu-ray player is nowhere near an ethernet cable. I wonder if there was anyway to get the wifi, internet signal from my laptop - which is near to the player and use that in some way?

If you have the cables (HDMI, USB .etc) then just connect the laptop to the TV.

Seems interesting - if this will work through an Ethernet cable it would be fantastic. Thanks stu

Connect your laptop to the bluray player with an ethernet cable, and on windows bridge the ethernet and wireless connection
