Estimated time for android/Linux on iPod touch 3g

    Nope. The ipod touch 1g and 2g haven't even been released yet. You need a bootrom level exploit i think which the 3g doesn't have yet.

    it's an iboot exploit you need, hence it being installed using openiboot

    so yes or no on ipod touch. coz my dad has a nexus one and he keeps showin me all cool android featurss and i wanna show him how my ipod has both.

    actually planetbeing put a update post up on his blog. it said the iphone 3g and ipod touch 1G would be released within a week.

    Neither of these devices are the iPod touch 3g. They already have an exploit, until one is found and released for the touch 3g, there wont be android for it.

    They have one for the iPod Touch 3G. Geohot has one that he is saving for the new iPhone that works on the iPad too. It will more than likely work on all devices.
