    Hi there

Because Cydia uses apt for installing new applications people can also, when logged into the iPod by ssh update the sources of cydia by the command

    apt-get update

But when i try to do i get the following error messsage:

    ...
    it http://apt.saurik.com tangelo/main Packages
    Ign http://modmyifone.com stable/main Packages/DiffIndex
    Ign http://modmyifone.com stable/main Packages
    Hit http://modmyifone.com stable/main Packages
    Fetched 5074B in 18s (274B/s)
Failed to fetch http://repo.smxy.org/cydia/apt/dists/xena/Release Unable to find expected entry main/binary-iphoneos-arm/Packages in Meta-index file (malformed Release file?)
    Reading package lists... Done
W: Couldn't stat source package list http://repo.smxy.org xena/main Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/repo.smxy.org_cydia_apt_dists_xena_main_binary-iphoneos-arm_Packages) - stat (2 No such file or directory)
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems
E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Can some people give me some hint to what i can do to solve this problem? .... change the descripstion in the /etc/apt/sources.d/ste.list?

I had a Cydia problem, but it was that my downloads were taking freakin' FOREVER.

That's extremely disappointing. I just said screw it and powered down.

I restored mine to custom 2.0 firmware. Using ziphone app first to put my ipod to recovery mode. now its working again. (I went out to buy some food. when I got home about 15minutes later cydia was not responding and I could not do anything)

When you are logged into the iPod by ssh (as root), you can simply restart the iPod with the command: reboot
