When I try to turn on my iPod Touch (1.1.2 Jailbroken), i get a screen with the apple logo and a spinning ring. This screen stays on, and I can't go to my apps. Oddly, iTunes recognizes it as on, and I am able to SSH into it using WinSCP. Every 10 minutes or so, the iPod reboots, and the process continues. Is there anything I can do through SSH or iTunes besides a complete restore that can get let me fix this? I just ran the mv /System/Library/Fonts /private/var/Fonts command in the terminal in WinSCP, and I received an error that said "Directory does not exist" or something like that....

    NEVER say only option: restore.

Seeing as, when it comes down to it, restoring/formatting is the last resort anyone should take.

If you try SSHing into your iPoT and deleting anything you recently did.
