I am new to this forum because of an error I cannot over come in itunes,

After following many videos on how to "unbrick" an ipod touch I still recieve the same error 6 message during Ipod Verification just before the end of the restore.

Before I put my ipod back into jailbreak form i am restoring it to 2.2.1,

The "brick" occured during an attempt to move up to 3.0 when my ipod decided 'no sneddon no' when I ended up screaming at my pc like a little girl, then decided Ipod video seems to look good until this is fixed.

Any help fellow iPod Touch 1st Generation Users?

Use a tutorial on youtube to stick into DFU mode then downgrade. If you still get problems, downgrade your iTunes to a lower version.

apply the regular 3.0 firmware first then jailbreak it.
