Error 2000 when Jailbreaking from RedSn0w Need help

    So ive been trying to figure out why i cant jailbreak my ipod touch 4G running 5.1.1
    i tried using RedSn0w but i keep getting a Error 2000 from redsn0w and i tried using absinthe but it just Quits right in the middle of the jailbreak
    does anyone know a solution or how i can fix this problem ?
    id love any info on how to fix this

    I have the same problem with my iPod touch 4g will it work if I restore it then try again from redsn0w

    Probably, but try jailbreaking with a different computer first.

    Did you restore from a jailbroken backup? That's the problem.

    Wow, I'm getting this with the new redsn0w. I just restored with no back up.

    ReStore as new device. Don't download from iCloud back up. That's what fixed mine.

    Don't restore. Just go into DFU mode before jailbreaking

    This. Entering DFU mode before the restore with the new redsn0w makes it use ramdisk mode which is much more robust and reliable.

    I have an iPad 2 wifi running iOS 5.1.1, and I'm getting the same error message. Anyone have any suggestions for what I can do?
