If this post includes any sort of breaking the rules, I can modify.

But basically, I'm jailbreaking my iPod Touch 1G to 3.0. Problem is, the iPod won't install 3.0 software. I get to around 80%-99% then it says a "Unexpected Error has Occurred (Error 10)"

When iTunes reaches the "Verifying" part, this is where it ALWAYS fail.

I've tried countless of times, but the "iPod1,1_3.0_7A341_Restore" just won't install/verify onto my iPod.

Any ideas on how to pass this? Many thanks.

Did you buy your 3.0 firmware off iTunes?

No, I downloaded from 3rd party area =/
It couldn't be the problem tho, because many people are working 3.0 on there iPod Touch's without paying a penny.

It is illegal to download 3.0 from anywhere else than iTunes without paying. It is considered piracy.
