Error 0xe8000022 Help

    Yesterday Night i was downloading a itouch fix for custumize but it said the aplication wont take effect until restarted, so i restarted but when it turned on the itunes image appearead it said to connect to itunes. I connected my ipod touch and the an unknown error appeared."iTunes could not connect to the iPod""because an unknown error occurred (0xE8000022)" thats the exact thing it popped up. Please help im willing to do anything, i dont care if i have to delete everything i just want my ipod back.

    try a force restore. i cant remember how, but its at the top of the ipod touch tech help section.

    yes

    i did but it didnt work it still shows the itunes image and when i try to connect the same unknown appears. Is there any otherway to restore?

    not that i know of. try to get some info from, Danls92, spoonforknife, or SkylarEC. they are like the 'magicians of the ipod touch' there are other users too, but those 3 are the best that i can think of. oh, and not forgetting ipodouchmaster05 . try to pm one of them. they should know the answer. i hope i helped

    What iTunes image? If you have a camera, take a picture of the problem if you can.
    Supposedly the only way to fix this is through a force restore. If that didn't work, try
    restoring in another computer. If that didn't work, call Apple Customer Support and
    tell them they have no life j/k

    To easily restore, you need to enter DFU mode..

    Connect your iPod to iTunes.
    Hold down Power and Home.
    After the iPod turns off, wait 1 second, then release the Power button, still holding the home button.
    Wait about 15 seconds, give or take.
    iTunes should recognise an iPod in recovery mode, even though you will see nothing on your iPod's screen.
    Shift + Restore to a firmware of your choice.

    i think it becuz the new itune they made it so ppl with jailbroken ipods cant connect (theroy =)
    i just downloaded the new itunes rite now and that happens to me too
