    After I install it says:

    "Notice
    Add /var/root/bin to you PATH"

    what does this mean?

I'm guessing you installed 1.1.3 prep. It uninstalled a few things in system. I would recommend restore.

It means Erica Utilities added a new folder called "bin" your iPod's folder. If you go SSH your iPod touch using winSCP or CuteFTP, you will notice a "bin" folder in "/root" along with "Media" folder and "Library" folder. Open up the "bin" folder and you will notice a lot unknown files such as alert, autosnap, catch, etc. These are the utilities. You can only use these with winSCP or any SFTP program with Execute ability.

For further details about the utilities go to Erica's website.

I am wondering about this notice too. Thanks for the info. I understand that this new folder was created, but the message says to add this folder to PATH. Do I need to modify PATH, and if so, how to do it? I have browsed Erica's site and Googled "ipod PATH" with no luck.
