erase all content and settings

    i had a jbd device and i hit erase all content and settings in my ipod...now it get the white swirly thing and the apple boot logo but the swirly thing isnt moving
    help

    ive also tried holding home button and power...but it does the same thing...it is unrecognized by itunes too!!!

    Lesson learned? NEVER, EVER erase all content and settings on a jailbroken device.

    Put it in DFU mode and restore.

    is your device in DFU mode? dont confuse DFU mode with recovery mode

    its just off...but now ive tried in dfu and restore...itunes still doesnt recognize it.., but now my computer does

    This? Where your in DFU mode what does the screen display?

    dfu says connect to itunes sorry...restore says nothing

    DFU mode should leave your ipod screen blank, restore mode is where it says connect to itunes

    if you're screen has a picture on it, then you ARE NOT in DFU.

    well none of them are recognized in itunes?
