My 3rd Gen Touch has been thrown into an endless boot after disabling itunesstored's 15 second refresh (or whatever) time interval and after rebooting, it caused a bootloop. I threw it in DFU mode and iTunes recognizes it. Before I go ahead and LOSE all my JB stuff, is there any way I can access the filesystem and see about fixing the file and rebooting again?

You already did lose all off of your JB stuff. DFU mode deletes it all I think, which is how it removes the problem. Again, I THINK. Lol

No. DFU just allows you to restore when all else fails. But, I always thought you could search the filesystem through USB.

PSh yeah. Tell me about it. Besides the ten minutes restore, a 2 hour sync is down my path.

I told you, it doesn't go into recovery mode. Doesn't matter, I knew what screwed it up. I just restored three times and fixed it.
