This happens every time i try to change anything on the new (updated today) customize 2.0

it happened even before i updated

    things tried:
Changing all permissions to 755 (duh)
    restarting ipod
    reinstalling customize

Do we have to do something in springboard for customize to work??

thanks to anyone that helps, rep will be rewarded

Same here tried permissions and reinstalling using 2.0 beta on 1.1.4 might restore and see how it goes

uninstall customize and install SUID Lib Fix in the 1.1.3 tweaks respring then install customize 2.0 worked for me.

    i have a similar problem.
the only way i managed to get it working is by launching customize from a terminal on my computer login as root. Then all the download themes are located in the root folder and not in the mobile folder.

It is not supposed to be this way but it is working like this.

edit: found a solution. You have to change the owner of the springboard.app in the system file because only root can make change.
in a terminal enter the following command:

    chown -hR mobile:mobile /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app

    that should fix the problem.

Have you tried going into summerboard, and setting the theme to customize?

The you installed it wrong. You may need to reinstall SUID Lib Fix and Customize again.
