    Hey guys I'm here today because I'm experiencing an issue that I can't seem to get rid of.

    First off let me give you off the specs.I plan on giving a detailed explanation of my problem so there may be a lot of reading.

    Specs

    Type:iPod Touch 2nd/3rd gen

    Model:MC

    Capacity:8GB

    Okay now here is my problem.

    I have been reading the tutorial here:http://http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=299003&highlight=Enable+Multitasking

    It requires that you have iFunbox or an SSH Client.

    I have been using iFunbox and I find it quite nice.

    Okay so it says I need to locate a file called N72AP.plist.

    Currently I have found the file but heres where I have the problem.

    In the tutorial you see all the commands of the plist file.Well this is what I get inside the N72AP.plist file...

    Now wth is up with that?I have tried figuring it out but Idk what is up with it.

    Since I haven't seen anybody have this problem before could it be that I'm the one with the problem that nobody else has?Or could it be that I have a very common problem and I did in fact do something wrong.

    Hope somebody knows what's going on here.

    Oh and heres what I should have.

    Download/install this, and open the plist with it. I'm just in the process of updating the tutorial to include this info now.

    Well I'm gonna continue with the download cause your method came up with a COMPLETELY new plist file.Check this out.

    (Note this takes a crap ton of time to upload cause I use a dial-up connection.It's all we have where we live so yeah :O)

    To make this clear is that the way it should look?It does have the keys on I just noticed but ...it looks more complicated to put in the multitasking key.

    If I may suggest something, why not download "features" from Cydia?

    I just now opened that same file from the website and I opened it with instead of notepad I used wordpad.Whats funny is is that it worked fine with wordpad.

    The only weird thing though is that instead of it including what this picture has.

    There are two "extra" keys under it.

    <key>volume-buttons</key>
    <true/>
    <key>wifi</key>
    <true/>

    Now should I put the multitasking key under them?

    Yes, under them should do it.

    Alright I pasted it into the iFunBox and replaced it with the N72AP.plist file and it has them under it.So is that all I do?

    You can use the iappcat link, it's just a bit of a pain converting the file to XML, then back again, and the reconversion doesn't always work. The program I linked to will work perfectly straight away, and will offer you a lot more features and usability.

    You can put the new entries underneath wifi, I just cut a few out to make the screen shot a little more compact.

    For the multi-tasking/wallpapers, yes. For the battery percentage, see the tutorial for the next step.
    The tutorial has now been updated to resolve both the plist binary issue and some problems people were having with the battery percentage feature.
