Yo, i found a cool app, it's just a app that enables/disables your WIFI, to make your battery live longer.

So, just add this source in your installer:

    hpcgi3.nifty.com/moyashi/ipodtouch/repository.cgi

    Go to All Packages
    Scroll to WIFIswitch
    install it

sureley not you can turn of your wifi by going to settings wifi and turn it off why would you need a new app for that ?

    Yeah, that's pretty pointless.

i dunno, it may be pointless, but it does make switching wifi on and off easier.

wouldnt the app be left open most of the time by accident (not holding down the home button forever for it to completely close)

therefore taking up more battery power itself?

nope, the holding down button is a myth on most of the apps.

Unless the app needs saves your cache or needs to run in the background (ie safari, music player while musics unpaused, NES player when not turning off the running game)
Most apps exit completely w/ just the quick press of the home button.
You can see which apps runs in the background by installing SysInfo into your iphone/ipod touch and see all running apps.

Other than that whats the point of this app if you already have services app that lets you turn off wifi and SSH

an alternative would be to use an app like Services or BossPrefs where you can enable/disable several things including wifi and ssh all in one app
