sorry if i put this thread in the wrong place. well i was listening to music and i went to go out of it and my home button got stuck. its literally caved in sort of like a depression, where as normally it is leveled. I don't want to restore it. How can i fix it without restoring?

this may sound weird but kind of bang it on the corner of the ipod touch metal parts and the vibration might pop the button back out also how would restoring fix your button

If All fails and the button is stuck permnatly there is an sbsettings toggle that will act as your home button

Or, if it's still under warranty, go ahead and restore, then have Apple fix it. You can back up most of your Jailbroken stuff with AptBackup, and back up your App Store apps with AppBackup.

    Bang it on something.

Has fixed basically every problem I have had.
