Hey all, just wondering if there was a tweak out there that could give a popup notification for email, to make it more like a true oust service. This would really come in handy.

Would griP work for this? Does griP even work on iPad at this point?

    Thanks guys.

Grip works, but is very unstable, and crashes 90% of time lol

Can't wait for Grip to support iPad.

You can bring up LockInfo from anywhere via Activator.

But, for example, if I am reading a book and get an email, I want Mail to be able to give me the notification pop up saying I have a new mail.

That doesn't sound like what you guys are posting though...

Look through the AppStore for Push email notifications. That should be what you're looking for.

All of the apps I found make you forward your email through their own server, which might be the only way. I was just looking for it straight from mail.app.

Oh well, beggars cant be choosers I guess.

    Thanks everyone.
