I cant find anyway to downgrade and go back to 2.2.1. I tried the QuickFreedom tutorial someone posted and i followed it but i kept getting an error when it was changing the firmware. i also tried doing shift click on itunes and restoring it but all i got was error 20. Idk what else to do, I'm out of ideas.

Why do you want to downgrade?

If you're getting error 20, you're not in DFU mode.

    *Plug in iDevice first.

Kind of an off-topic question, but if you downgrade, do you have to pay again for the update? Again, sorry for the off-topicness, but I am just curious cause I wanna downgrade so I can re-jailbreak and unhide my apps, lawl.

No you don't cause you have already downloaded firmware 3 Which is now saved on computer in one of iTunes folders so all it does it restore from there without needing to download it again
