I used tinyumbrella to store my 4.0 SHSH file on my comp. it was already on cydia. i want to restore, and i know this will put me on 4.0.2, currently unjailbreakable. will i be able to downgrade back to 4.0 when i want to? and how might i be able too since i have my blobs?

yes. But all you have to do is use the tss server because it does all of that host file for you without even editing the host file

It will act as if it was apple's server. iTunes will just act normally if everything went right.

it starts the tss server and makes it so that when you restore you bypass those errors that are caused by not having shsh blobs

so basically it edits the "hosts file" until you click "stop TSS server?"
