books.app is fab. Should be in the installer. The best thing is it remembers exactly where you were in the book when last closed the app. ebooks go in the "Media" folder in a folder called "Ebooks"

Sorry to hijack th thread. I just Jailbroke my IPT last night , installed BOOKS reader and installed a couple of books. I cannot seem to find them. I open the reader and nothing is there. The books DO appear in the UNINSTALL portion of the INSTALLER app.

Help an IPT newb out please!!!

there has been a few threads looking to a find solution to this, I am still looking.........

It seems to be whare the media folder is located now compared to where is was under 1.1.1

As a temporary solution to this I have had to download books via my computer and then transfer them by SSH to the Media/EBooks folder

You need to make sure that the directory is "EBooks" (with that capitalization).

You can also use apache to read books in Safari, which is nice because it allows landscape (which is more comfortable imo).

The Books.app lets you read in landscape as well. And invert colours and resize. pretty cool little app
