Why isnt there an easy way to organise apps in the springboard, i would have thought it would have been easier than the messy way it is at the moment, especially when i have several apps it becomes terribly messy.

I was thinking the same thing, every time I want to move an app to a different page, I have to then re-locate all of my other apps back into the right order. There should be a simpler way.

    Couple ways....
Put the icon in the dock, go to the page and bring it up.

Use your skillz, and when dragging the icon to the next page, hold your finger still (after going to the next page) [So your on page 2, and no icons have re-arranged] then move it slightly back, DO NOT bring in front of last icon, then go forward.
That may seem difficult but it's quite easy.
