I want to go to the Apple store tomorrow and get my earphones replaced. They stopped working. No sound at all.

They've came with my iPod and my iPod is under warranty. I know they'll replace it. But how will I ask? Go to the genius bar and ask?

I'm jailbroken will they need to see my iPod? My brother will "have it" if they ask.

Before you go to the Apple Store I suggest you wait and listen to my solution.

No. I've updated to 4.0. It would have fixed it. They've stopped working at 3.1.2. I had to restore to 3.1.3 and 4.0. So yeah.

Yeah, I would invest in some better earphones than the standard apple ones.
They would most likely last longer with the benefits of better sound

    Hope this helps.

I think earphones only have 3 months warranty.

Return it back to the apple store. They'll give you a new pair. It's under the iPod's 1 year warranty I believe.

Mine are screwed up as well (they work but sound doesn't come out well in the left side).

I bought me a pair of VERY nice cheap earphones a couple months ago.

I got it off of amazon.com

They're by Lift Audio.Reviews are great and the sound is BOOMINg.

There only about $20 so they're not very expensive.
