I've been reviewing the forum regarding earbuds and it's obvious to me you can spend enormous amounts of time and money and still not be satisfied. I tried this.

The stock Apple earbuds and added for $17 Griffin EarJams. Really improves the sound, fits the ears really well and is cheap!

dont you find that its a rip off to spend around $20 to buy a piece of plastic covering for your ipod when you can spend around the same price on actual in-ear earbuds that are far better?

I agree that Apple should distribute an "in the ear" earbuds but like everyone else I'm not going to hold my breath. The earjams are a very inexpensive fix that work much better than any earbuds I've tested, even the Bose.

well you are correct, Apple does make in the ear earbuds. Thanks. I was just stating that for the price we pay we should not have to pay big bucks for a decent pair of earbids.

Apple in-ear headphones are horrendous. They do dont fit well and have awful sound. Stick to stock.

I've been pleased with the JVC Marshmallows that I got for around $20. Really nice to have when on an airplane as it cuts out a good deal of the noise.
