    Hello.
I'am from Belarus. My english stinks. So don't shout on me if something is not clear.

So, one day (3 day ago) I saw a topic "[Windows] Redsn0w Tutorial [Tethered]" Then I found topic (on the russian forum) that included .bat files (a bit automated) but jailbreak ways are the same. So I started but I forgot to change iBoot.n72ap.RELEASE.img3 in my threted firmware. So I restored my Ipod touch 2g with this firmware (without changing iBoot.n72ap.RELEASE.img3)
Then I started to boot my ipod touch in jailbroken mode and I got just a white screen((( So now i cant even restore my ipod. iTunes give me errors 1601 and if i do first part of jailbreak (i mean this
    cd C:\Users\yourusername\Desktop\iRecovery\iRecovery_SVN
iRecovery -f iBSS211.dfu) it gives me error 2005.
    Need help...

The only way i can boot my Ipod is DFU mode... Clicking restore in i Tunes and then 1601 error after "Preparing Your Ipod For Restore"

I just need help to restore my ipod. Tell me please what files jailbreak changes in the ipod touch system and how can I restore them?

    SO I'VE FOUND THE CURE!!!!!!!!!
    I'VE SEND cd C:\Users\yourusername\Desktop\iRecovery\iRecovery_SVN
    iRecovery -f iBSS221.dfu (From 2.2.1 firmware)
    Instead iRecovery -f iBSS211.dfu
And started jailbreak again from 1st step.

if you can turn your ipod on go to setting the general and reset all setting then try to connect it to itunes because thats pretty much restoring your ipod without a computer but it take about an hour and a half.
