Alright, so I have an iPhone 3g, and want a video recorder, and such, best way to get one is by jailbreaking (duh?)

Now my question is, can I jailbreak, instal say, cydia, and uninstall cydia, and keep the video recoding app that I find?

I used to have cycorder, but updated to 3.0(GM, not the betas) and had to unjailbreak my iPhone, which I then fond out that the batery life had increased (not a lot, but some), now I'm wondering if it's the 3.0 software or the fact that I unjailbroke.

P.S. On my iPod touch, when I had it jailbroken I could go like 2-3 days with web use on wifi, music and such wihout havng to charge, I know iPhone uses more Batery life, but don't Think that means that I would have to charge it like 2 times a day lol.

You mean the battery life decreased.
And well, I don't think either did it.
There is a main post about conserving battery life off.
