So im starting this project that seemed like a good idea. I wanted to dual boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.10 with the help of this guide. It looks pretty legit and easy to follow. Im downloading ubuntu now as well as backing up my computer. Does this sound like a good idea? let me know.

I have decided to use the guide that was on the ubuntu site cause the other guide is long and confusing. Still downloading only about 40 percent through. Wish me luck

You could just simply use an Ubuntu Live CD and use an USB Stick to save any changes that you make so you wont have to mess with your HDD.
