    To all the Linux Geniuses.

Is Dual-Booting Ubuntu 8.10 the same as booting Ubuntu 8.04?

I mean can I use this 8.04 guide with 8.10?

Just use Wubi and you'll be fine. Does it all for you.

I would, but I've heard that by doing that, I cannot get Compiz Fusion.

Yes, you can have it. When you try to open the settings to get CF, it is going to ask you to download the graphic card driver. You download it, reboot and it is done.

If you don't want to use wubi (I wouldn't) the old method will still work the same.

    Are You Sure?
Because when i Clicked on "Guided - Use Most Continuous Free Space", The Little Partition Bar said "Ubuntu - 100%"

It looked like it was going to take up the entire HD

Oh. It shouldn't do that. How about partitioning manually?
