Basically what the title says, I installed dTunes and it won't run any .mpg files I download from the internet (or anything else for that matter). I even imported one of the AAC files from my iTunes library into /var/..Downloads... The only stuff it will play is stuff from the 2 download sites it gives you, and that goes through QT anyway. Any reason for this? Or is dTunes completely useless?

As far as I know you dtunes only works with videos that the the iPod can process, i.e. MPEG4 & H264... MPEG 2, MPEG1 etc. do not work

Ah, that makes sense, any progress on a native video converter for the iPod Touch? =D

Is there a 'wmv' plug-in for QuickTime?

    try here...

There are external video converters, such as iPodME. You will never see a connverter native to the iPod Touch as there just isn't sufficient processing power or memory for this task, though you probably knew that
