ds snapped in half is it possabal to be fixed

    ok so my coz was going to put his old ds lite in the bin but i came over and asked if i could have it. basically the whole top screen of the ds is completely detached from the bottom (no connection at all, no wires nothing). when i turn on the bottom half the screen flashes wight for a second the gos black again. is there any way to fix this.

    There is no way.
    Go buy a new one.
    Even if you did try to send it in for repairs, it'll probably cost close to the cost of a brand spanking new DS.

    You should use duct tape and sell it on eBay.

    i haerd you can disassemble it and sell it on teh ebay! better than throw it away for none money! my good advice is not fail!

    Yes you could, but I personally believe it's not worth the time and money.

    And just looking at the way you spell the word possible... I don't think you would have the knowledge to fix it yourself.

    Best choice is to sell it under "Broken Nintendo DS for parts", and buy a new Nintendo DS. Or you could just save up for the Nintendo DSi that's going to be released to the U.S.A. in April.

    I myself would just go with the DS Lite. I don't like not having a gba slot, and I don't need the music player, or the horrible cameras.
