Even if it is true (it's not), it would run like crap. Imagine rubbing feces over your iPod Touch screen. That's about how good it would be.

theres a fake emulator on the app store. it doesnt emulate ds games tho. A DS emulator would be impossible right now

DS Emulators don't even run well on PCs right now. Takes a 2GHz+ dual core. So I don't see them running on a 600GHz handheld.

I don't like how many people straight away dismiss a ds emulator. Remember how an android lockscreen was never meant to be possible- hacked themes were thought of stupid to even try to get themes for the iPod- gpsphone back before it was created people dismissed the thought of anyone even trying it. Which is why although most likely not on this generation of iPods and iPhone I won't put it past the chance of it being made somehow- maybe we could make steps towards it on the next iPod like maybe pokemon shiny gold working on a hacked gpsphone version?

    There is always possibility

Compare the specs of a GBA and a DS, notice the huge difference.

Put it this way, you need a pretty decent computer to emulate the DS. Nobody is saying its impossible to make the emulator, it would just be impossible to play the games. Unless you want to play them at < 1fps. The hardware available physically cannot make is feasible to even try.
