dropped my ipod :(

    but everything seems to be working great im actually posting from it. I dropped it from like 6 feet ... Im paranoid about it now... How durable is it? There no moving parts in it right .. ? I'm so anal about it LOL ..
    I bought three year warranty with it from best buy so good thing for that

    seems like its working fine, any scratches from the drop?

    nope, no mechanical things in there except for the two buttons, and that is it. the storage is all solid state so there is no chance of impact or G forces disturbing that.

    you can use your iPoT during a rocket launch!

    no i had it in like a thin cloth case i made out of the little black whipes it came with. for some reason i got two so i sowed them together lol .. it seems to works fine. what is the damage that can occur from a fall though? How durable are these things really? same as iphone?

    What whipes? I don't recall getting any in the two 8gig itouch boxes I opened.

    the little black whipes that came with the ipod touch, I got two in the box for some reason. so I sowed them together to make a temp case. ( i didnt sow , mom gets props for that ) .. the manual says not to drop the ipod lol..

    but i mean really they obviously do tests on it by dropping it before they sell it. etc. im happy i got the best buy warrenty though, its better then apple I heard.. apple trys to repair stuff, bestbuy just gives you a new one

    so maby two years from now ill get a new one when it breaks lol.

    3 year warrenty...

    isnt the 3 year warrenty from best buy more expensive than just buying a second Ipod Touch?

    it was 60 bucks I think for the warrenty .. but its worth it.

    thats sweet that you got two polishing cloths, it's only suposed to come with one. if you're ipod is working fine now after the drop, i would say that there shouldent be any problems with it. either way you still got the three year warrenty coverage, just dont tell em you dropped it, lol.
