Hey guys, I just wanted to ask you something.

I just dropped my iPod from about two feet onto carpet, and normally wouldn't be worried, but when I went to my music/ videos I no longer had anything there! When I went to sync, it said that it couldn't be accessed and needed to be restored. When I tried to restore, it said it couldn't, so I forced it to restore, and now it works fine.

Should I be worried? I'm guessing that since I had just finished syncing, it was still doing some library maintenance, and the drop did something to it.

Since my iPod suffers from the negative black problem, I've already been thinking of returning it for another(it isn't really that bad, but I'd prefer to have the best iPod I can), do you think that I should?

2 feet onto carpet? It should not have affected it at all.

you could do that or take it there and ask them if anything is wrong with it.

Like I said, normally I wouldn't care about a 2ft drop on carpet, but the whole restoring thing kinda scared me.

Another thing is that I just noticed that there is a small group of what appear to be dead pixels that were not there before.

Finally, I just got my iPod less than a week ago, so I still have the warranty, but I also bought the 3 year warranty, do you guys know which one it would go under? If I were to get a replacement, would my 3 year be voided?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just kinda anxious.
