Edit: everything works now. i had to turn off the firewall.

DropCopy rocks i think. A really cool app not just for the ipod/phone!

    Hello

I managed to send files from the imac to the ipod-touch. But i have problems sending files from ipod to imac with DropCopy. DropCopy on iPod says: "sending file: done". But the file isent on the iMac.
    Anybody managed to send files?

DropCopy was great at first. Then I started having issues with dropping compressed files like .tar -- it would say "done" but the file would be 0KB. On top of that, I needed to manually move files from the DropCopy folder. So, if I wanted to drop a GBA rom, I would drop it, go to MobileFinder and move the rom into the right folder.

All of these issues were solved when I got AFPd.app working on my touch. Now it's like having wireless disk mode. All of the directories and files show up on my Mac like it's a connected driskdrive.

How exactly do you set up communication between the iPodt/iphone and your computer. I can't seem to find a step-by-step on this.
