It's a Mac-only application - you install it on your computer and it provides a drop zone that you can link to SFTP connections like the iPod Touch (via SSH)...Gonna have to try it myself...

Can't Connect Touch to Mac with DropCopy???

Tried using DropCopy but having problem with Mac 'seeing' my Touch.

Followed instructions and Chris's video (THANKS for making it!) but so far no go....

Have latest version on my MacBook and on my Touch.

When I scan for locations on my Mac, it didn't find Touch. So, I did the manual input approach, but still doesn't 'see' my Touch....

Wondering if there are other things going on here that need to be addressed to fix this:

    A) Do I need to set other System Prefs on my Mac?

    B) As 'connection' is trying to be made over WiFi, is there something I need to do regarding my network settings as it relates to my WiFi router, etc??

Or is there something else I need to check???

FWIW, I am able to connect my Touch to internet using my WiFi network and connect with my Mac with cable and iTunes....

    Appreciate any and all input!!

    Thanks,

    Mark

    UPDATE: More Info

Decided to try connecting via SSH using Terminal app in OSX on my Mac....

    Code:
    $ scp -r /Users/marks/Desktop/MobileToDoList.app/ root@192.168.1.2:/Applications/
ssh: connect to host 192.168.1.2 port 22: Operation timed out
    lost connection

So, something is going on here that is not allowing me to connect to Touch on my Mac.....

eh.. i never knew the dropcopy was for ipod touches and macs... lol. I thought it was to connect files to other ipod touches. I mean i tried it and it worked. I sent my friend a ps rom over the wifi directly to his ipod touch. Just a thought.
