This is my first iPod anything and it is driving me crazy. I have an iPod Touch 3G 8GB and everything is new and confusing. I cannot even figure out how to change the Weather, right now I have Copertino and New York...how do I change the bloody thing ? And, the little white plastic docking station, how the heck does that work ?

    1) open weather.
    2) at the bottom right hand conner of the card you will see a "i" with a white circle. click that
    3) to the left of Copertino and New York there will be red circle was a line in them. click that.
    4) to the right of Copertino and New York a delete will appear. hit that.
    5) at the top left of the app there will be a "+" sign will a square around it. hit that.
    6) enter zip/city/state ect.
    hit search
    7) click on the correct location from the results below the search bar.

the little white thing is an adapter. you have to buy the apple dock or other station that use the adapter. it only assures that your ipod it being held properly in the dock

Changing the weather is easy my friend ^-^
    Open the Weather app.
On the bottom right hand corner, there's a little I.
    Press it.
Next to the default cities, there's a red circle with a line through it. Click that line, and press delete.
    Now, add your city.
Press the plus in the upper left corner, type your city name or zip code. Let it find it, then press it. Next press done on the window, and exit out by pressing the home key. Now the weather app will have your city.

As for the dock, I have no idea. I just threw it out, I never use it.

Thanks guys, the first few time I clicked the little i, nothing happened, then it worked. Appreciate the help, I fear it will not be the last of my inquiries.

You shouldn't panic about these things, the first day I got my touch I was happier than anything. Looking through everything and anything was really interesting. Here you are panicking about changing the weather.

Did you search? But this is probably one of the things people never felt the need to put a guide up for...
