Drain battery life?

    So I used to have my ipod jailbroken but I feel like it drained the battery life so much faster so I went back to normal. But im board now and wanna do it again. did it really drain the battery life or am i just remembering that wrong? haha

    It drains battery. If you've installed apps like Winterboard and SBSettings then you'll see a huge difference. I went back to non-jailbroken for the purpose of more battery life.

    im sure it does drain it more, if you use lots of mobile substrate additions, and use lots of apps with backgrounding enabled. it all depends on how you use it wether or not the battery drains faster

    it may be some of the app downloaded that are drawing power

    ok so just to clarify if i jailbreak my touch my battery life will remain the same as it is now, it all just depends on the apps i download?
