Will we be able to download podcasts directly on our iPod with 2.0? That would make my day

This is a feature I have been anxious to see. I'm hoping some 3rd party or preferably Apple decide to add it, and soon!

Exactly. Please search next time before creating a new thread.

EDIT: No, you will not be able to download podcasts directly on your iPod touch, because:

    A) Firmware 2.0 has completely different frameworks, so a previous application such as MobileCast would not work.
    B) There will be no application through the App Store for this, as Apple does not want applications that change/modify the music library.

MobileCast is really good, I installed it. You need to have the RSS feed URL/Link for the specific podcast you want to listen to.
