    Hey there.
Recently, I've downloaded a few new apps. However, when I launch them, they pop up and try to load, but then quickly close again.
No matter how many times I reinstall, they won't work.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to fix this?

Did you download these apps from the AppStore?

Not quite.. They're legal, though. Not piracy.

Care to elaborate? I can think of a few reasons, but give us some more info.

Mods sure are bu7thurt around here.
I was looking for answers, not people nagging on me. I've told you it's not illegal, I don't see any reason to keep asking.. You've done your part, and your forum won't be in any legal issues now..

Anyways, it's a few applications my friend developed.

I wasn't trying to be a douche, I just needed more information to solve your problem.

Now that you've told me these are apps made by a friend, I'm going to assume that they haven't been properly pseudo-signed. If your friend knows anything about iPhone development, he should be able to fix it. However, you can do it yourself: install 'ldid' from Cydia, and in MobileTerminal or over SSH, navigate to the directory holding the app, and run

    Code:
    ldid -S AppName.app/AppName

Okay, thanks.. It happens pretty generally, though. Just tried with a few other apps, which are not from him, and they do the same.

They may not be compatible with your current firmware version.

Makes sense actually.. I've got 3.0.. Can I upgrade to 3.1.2 even if it's jailbroken? Or do I have to re-break it?
