Do you have an SSH program so that you can get to terminal? The fix they are speaking of worked for the main script error problem but I still have the same issue you do sometimes but it goes away after a bit.

This is the fix they are speaking of:

*Access via SSH (winscp or mac quivalent) and enter the following commands
    chmod 4755 /Applications/Installer.app/Installer

u gotta uninstall some apps(maybe 3 or 4), then install bosstool, then go to bosstool and choose free disk space, then choose move fonts, and then choose move apps the reinstall ur apps and now u hav space to install more too

If you cannot download anything, here are some reason why:

    1. Your App partition is full. Uninstall some stuff

    2. You dont have enough room on your home screen.

    3. Whenever you try to download something and it fails, it gets added to a "Queue".
Make sure you clear your queue or remove whatever is in the queue before you try installing it again because Installer will attempt to install what ever is on the Queue before installing your other apps.

    4. If it still does not work, try again at another time because the server might be down or your router may be acting up. This has happened to me many times before. I just restarted my device and it was fine.

I never had to SSH or anything to "fix" Installer.

I got everything fixed..it was because the repo was down so I deleted that source..now everything is fine..Ipodtouchfans repo is down, not sure if its permanent..so that was the problem

click on on 'more info' via sources, and it'll say something along the lines of 'bad request' - i'd assume that would be a good indication of the repo being down as well. ;)
