How do I downgrade from 1.1.4 to 1.1.3?
put ur ipod into dfu mode and then restore
Sorry, but what's dfu mode?
And if I restore wont that take all like the jailbreak stuff away?
click dfu mode
and then shift-click restore in iTunes
and select the 1.1.3 firmware file
and you can always rejailbreak
if u must, make a backup of all ur stuff thru ssh
and put it back on when u rejailbreak
You have to explain a little bit more for me, i'm not good at this stuff.
I'm using ziphone.
So if I put it in dfu mode all my stuff will be gone?
when u put into dfu mode
you can downgrade it with itunes
you will lose all your stuff
you can backup your stuff
ssh into your ipod
download all the necessary things
and put them back on
Okay, I appreciate your help, but you need to be more clear for me
What does ssh mean?
Read my other post in tech help.
I'm frozen in some weird thing on ziphone i don't even know.
Please help, i'm freaking out.
Walk me through this.
well if your ipod is at the scrolling thing
you won't be able to ssh in
but ssh is like ftp- you can move files from your iPod to your computer, or vice versa.
But yeah-- turn it off by holding the power and home.
Then hold the home as you plug it into your computer.
Wait until a picture shows up (of an iTunes logo and an arrow)
it got to the to the picture, then i hit restore,
then an error popped up and it said it could not restore and then the scrolling started again.
you can't just put it in dfu mode and restore it, the new firmware updates doesn't let you, just download ziphone and press prepare for updrade:
