Hi, I'm running my custom sn0wbreeze iOS4 firmware on my iPod touch 3g 32gig.

Last night, when I preformed the jailbreak, I was able to successfully downgrade my iPod to 3.1.2 using the SHSH blobs on Saurik's server. I did this by editing my hosts file to redirect, as you all probably know.

Anyways, right now I want to downgrade to 3.1.2 again to redo the jailbreak, this time with Rock included in the custom firmware. However, I can't. iTunes is not letting me downgrade, even with DFU mode AND my hosts file edited.

Is this a known issue? Can anyone help? Why would it work last night, but not today?

    I'm having the same issue

tinytss/cmd prompt isn't going through its procedures during the restore

e- I've been able to resolve the issue on multiple accounts by restarting my computer

    good luck

Yeah, I just tried it again and it worked. I think that Saurik's servers were overloaded or experiencing some sort of downtime.

    Solved.
