So back when I had 3.1.2, I kept that and had the tethered jailbreak. Spirit came out, and it was untethered, so I updated. But before doing so, I grabbed my SHSH blobs as told so that I can restore if needed. Now I upgraded to 4.0, and I found out that to get this jailbreak to work I need to be on 3.1.2. So, since I got the blobs before I upgraded and did spirit, I should have 3.1.2 blobs, right? Well apparently I have 3.1.3 blobs because that is what umbrella says when I put the location of my blobs for the downgrade.

So is there anyway to go from 4.0 to 3.1.2 or from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 without the blobs?

If you don't have your 3.1.2 blob, you can't downgrade to that firmware

No, you need the blobs to downgrade. iTunes will not give you permission to downgrade unless you have your blobs backed up.
