I am on an ipod touch 1g and I want to downgrade from 3.0 to 2.2.1. I have put it into dfu and then shift clicked restore and selected the 2.2.1 firmwire but i always get one of the 1600 errors or error 20. I have tried on the latest version of itunes and iTunes 8.0.2.20 and the same thing happened. Most tutorials say to use the one version of itunes ending it 35 but I cant find it for 64-bit. Does anyone know how i can downgrade. I also saw that quickfreedom thing but i think that that is only for the ipod touch 2g. And if it isnt is there anyway to use that method using quickpwn because im on vista and i dont want to have to install the things to make it work, plus im way more familiar with quickpwn.

    Thanks in advance!

You don't need 64 bit. 64 bit just happens to be another option for 64 bit OS users. Go ahead and use the 32 bit iTunes.
